The Gifford Fire Protection District covers 86 square miles in the north-eastern portion of Champaign County, Illinois.  We respond to approximately 170 calls for service each year, providing such services as fire suppression, emergency medical, rescue, and basic hazmat response. We currently have a staff of 27 total volunteeer firefighters with 9 also EMT-Basics and 8 as Emergency Medical Responders.
