Fire Training
Gifford Firefighters have fire training on the third and fourth Mondays of each month, with a minimum of 48 hours of in-house training provided each year.  We also have access to Rantoul Fire training facilities and a multitude of other training opportunities through the Illinois Fire Service Institute.

Medical/EMS Training
EMS training is on the second Monday of each month, providing 24 hours of continuing education per year for our EMT’s and First Responders.

CPR Certification
Gifford Firefighters undergo CPR certification each year.
